TREASURER
WATER DEPOSIT AND
WATER BILLS
Property owners call Public Works to begin water service (540) 463-3154.
Renters must establish an account and pay a $50 deposit to the Treasurer to begin water service. They may come to the Treasurer's office in City Hall or mail the required information and deposit to Treasurer, PO Box 920, Lexington, VA 24450. Everyone must provide the Name for the Account, Address for Service, Billing Address, and Date to Begin Service.
A $20 set-up fee will appear on the first water bill.
Bills are mailed bi-monthly. Payment is due the 25th of the following month and a late fee is charged if payment is late. Water bills may be paid at the Treasurer's Office, City Hall, or they may be mailed to Treasurer, PO Box 920, Lexington.
Deposits and bill payments must be cash, check, or money order.
