YOUTH SERVICES CITIZEN BOARD

The Youth Services Citizen Board is established and appointed by the City Council and may include in its membership representative elected officials, representatives of public and private agencies that service youth, citizens not employed by government or service agencies, and at least one member who is below the age of eighteen years.  

Board members are appointed for a term of three years and may be reappointed.  Youth members serve one-year terms and may be reappointed as eligible.  The Board elects its own officers and establishes its own bylaws.  The Board reviews the annual operating budgets and quarterly income and disbursements statements of the Youth Services Citizen Board and the Office on Youth.
